专业课程旨在为学生提供理论知识与概念工具，以诊断并解决其所关注领域的问题。每位学生必须从下列专业课程中选择至少一个专业方向：无论选择论文方案还是独立研究方案，都必须从以下专业课程中修读至少 9 个学分（3 门科目）。
