Associate Professor Dr. Aweewan Pamyagometh received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Mahidol University; a Master of Science in Hazardous Waste Management from Chulalongkorn University; a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, USA; and a joint Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy, as well as Environmental Science and Management, from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Before joining the International College of NIDA, Dr. Aweewan was a full-time faculty member at the Department of Political Science, Ramkhamhaeng University.
Her areas of expertise are quantitative policy analysis, environmental policy, life-cycle assessment, and risk communication. She was also an invited lecturer at the Faculty of Environmental and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, and served as a committee member of the Environmental Petition Group under the Senate Committee on the Environment.
